Orzo is a fun, athletic boy who LOVES his people. His favorite things are lure coursing, obedience training (treats DUH!), and dog shows. He is a confident dog that loves to be in the ring and has a beautiful natural free stack. He finished his Show Championship at the 2022  Northern California Afghan Hound Club Specialty show, where he also won Best Bred By Exhibitor!

He is also VERY close to finishing his Field Championship. He has TWO 5 point majors and just needs 5 more singles (Or we can hope for another 5 point major!) to finish. He also enjoys Fast CAT (he was the highest ranked show champion Afghan Hound for 2022) events and Coursing Ability Tests. Chasing the "bunny" is his absolute favorite thing in the world.

 

Orzo has earned all of his Canine Good Citizen titles (Regular, Advanced, and Urban) and a Novice Trick Dog title. He enjoys learning and mastering his skills. He'll do almost anything for a treat and really relishes in praise.

Orzo was featured in the AHCA's Toknot News Spring 2020 issue and the Winter 2022 issue.
