About Pure Joy Afghan Hounds
California based breeder of AKC Afghan Hounds. We got our first Afghan Hound in 2017 and instantly fell in love with the breed. We have spent countless hours learning all that we can about them and have made it our goal to help preserve and better the breed. Our puppies come from health tested, AKC titled parents, and are whelped in our family home.

"We purchased a female pup from Megan 4 years ago. She is the sweetest dog. She’s smart, conformationally correct, and loves to run. We’ve experimented at dog shows and she did very well considering I had no idea what I was doing. We’ve also done lure coursing. Charlotte has earned her Junior Courser title from the AKC. She loves it! We love having an Afghan so much we’ve decided to get another one from Megan."
